When you are ready to cook dinner, put the ziplock bag of pork in marinade on counter to bring it to room temp while you are pre-heating the grill. Cold meat put straight on a hot grill will cause the meat to seize up and it won’t be very good!
Once the grill is hot, cook the tenderloin (discard the marinate) on medium high heat for 12-15 minutes. Turn the meat 2-3 times while cooking until the internal temperature reaches 140 F with a digital read thermometer.
Pork tenderloin grill time
Place the cooked meat on a sheet of foil and cover with additional foil as needed to wrap the meat. Allow the pork to rest for 10 minutes. This allows the meat to reabsorb its juices so the meat is juicy and flavorful. The meat tempearture will continue to go up a couple degrees to reach the safe temperature of 145 F.
