Christmas Tree Crayon Melting

Christmas Crayon art

We LOVE melting crayons to make art at our house! So we took crayons (pieces really) and chopped them up.

Minnie put the different pieces on a small canvas to make a Christmas tree.

I put the canvas on a cookie sheet and put in a preheated at 250 F for just 30 seconds.

TADA! Her own impressionistic piece of art! She is so pleased with herself & is thrilled to have Christmas artwork to hang up in HER room =-)

  3. This is such a cute ideas! Does the crayon flake off after it cools? Wondering if it would pack okay in a suitcase for a grandparent gift.
