Christmas Tree Puffy Paint
Kids of all ages will have fun mixing together this Christmas Tree Puffy Paint that only uses 2 ingredients!
You only need 2 ingredients for this puffy paint – equal parts white school glue and shaving cream.
If you like you can add food coloring or glitter to your puffy paint. (Just remember that if the food coloring you use stains your hands when you cook; it will stain kids hands if they use it to paint too.)
The puffy paint has a wonderful thick texture that is really fun to paint with!
My daughter’s favorite part of making our Christmas trees with puffy paint was adding sprinkles as ornaments to her tree! This is a great way to use up sprinkles.
Hint: We always buy sprinkles after holidays when they go on clearance for 75-90% off!
The sprinkles will set right into your puffy paint and stick when it sets to the touch. It gives projects a lot of dimension and originality!
My preschooler decided it would be great fun to finger (um, hand) paint. It really did have a cool, thick texture that was fun to play in. But again, if you use food coloring it may stain your child’s hand for a day or so.

My 1st grader decided she wanted to make Christmas mountains out of her puffy paint. Well, guess what, it actually dried to the touch too and stayed nice and tall. She was very pleased!
