Homemade playdough recipe

First, in a medium bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, cream of tartar and salt. Set aside.

In a medium nonstick pot over medium heat, add the oil and crayon. Stir constantly until the crayon is melted. Now Add the water and food coloring (optional to intensify colors) to the pot and expect the wax to separate from the water.

  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup salt
  • 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 crayons coarsley chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • food coloring optional
