Grinch Slime
This an easy Christmas slime recipe that only takes 2 minutes to whip up! I love easy slime recipes because they leaves more time to PLAY! See how we make this neon green grinch slime for loads of grinchy fun this December as we celebrate Christmas! This is such a fun grinch activity for toddlers, preschoolers, kindergartner, and grade 1 students.
Grinch Slime REcipe
Start out by putting 2 cups of white Elmers glue in a bowl. Then add green food coloring and mix until you get your desired shade of green. We used a neon green food coloring.
Add 1 cup of Sta Flo liquid starch. If you want to “tweak” your color, you can do so, but do it quickly as it gets a lot harder once you get the slime consistency. We added a little yellow food coloring to get our green to a Grinchy color. I suggest you do that at the beginning.
Grinch Activity
Mix the slime until you get stretchy consistency. Now make sure you have a clean counter and take off your jewlery because its time to knead the slime a couple times before you start playing.
HINT: If your slime feels a little sticky, just add a splash more of Sta Flo.
The Grinch Slime
Now that we showed you how to make slime in just 2 minutes, you are ready to play! This beautiful slime sheets and flows so beautifully.
We love how this slime feels so, for lack of a better word, slimy. But them you just use the big blob of slime and touch all the little slime stragglers and they easily pop back into the big blob of slime. I love low mess slime!
My kids would play with this slime for hours and hours if we didnt’ have other learning and chores to get done! It is so beautiful and FUN!!
We put our slime in jars to give away as party favors for our Grinch Theme Party.
