Melting Snowman

This outrageously fun snowman activity for preschoolers, toddlers, kindergartner, and grade 1 students combines the fun of playing with slime and building a snowman indoors for a silly winter activity for kids! Make our melting slime recipe and then have your children try to build a snowman before the snowman melts into a flat puddle of shinny, glittery, grey snow slime!

In a bowl mix 6 oz glitter glue and 6 oz clear glue.

Now add in 2 oz snowballs. THis part is optional, but we loved the texture it added to our play! Once the snowballs are in the slime they don’t make a mess.

Finally, blend thoroughly 6 oz Sta Flo liquid starch with a fork.

This beautiful slime is slightly stiffer than others…. which makes it so much fun to mold or make impressions in. You can use a cookie cutter, stamp, etc. and then have a handful of seconds before it flattens back.
