We love playful kindergarten math games at our house. Not only do math activities for kindergartners help kids stay engaged and eager to learn, but they help kids remember the content better too! This even or odd numbers sorting activity helps kindergartners and grade 1 students practice identifying if numbers are odd or even.  This odd and even number activity is a great way to help kids reinforce which numbers are odd and which are even.

Whether you are a parent, teacher, or homeschooler – this winter math is sure to make practicing fun at home, as math center in your classroom, or as a supplement to your homeschool math curriculum.

Winter Math

Simply print the three pages:

• Winter Scene Sorting Mat
• Numbered Snowballs to Sort
• Answer key with an explanation of even / odd numbers

Cut out the snowballs and you are ready to play. This can be easily stored in a large ziplock bag or page protector.

Snowball Math

To play the activity your child will sort the numbered snow balls by trying to have the snowball “hit” the right fort.

For example if you picked up the 4 snowball, 4 is even. You would “throw” it at the even snow fort.
