Summer time is a great time to take painting fun outdoors. I gave my toddler some cut flowers that were about past their prime to make beautiful pictures with. This paint with flowers project is a fun process art project for toddler, preschool, pre-k, kindergarten, first graders, and up! Use this summer activity for preschoolers to help kids explore mixing paint, texture, and more while making a unique work of art.

This paint with flowers activity is such a simple and fun painting activity for toddlers, preschoolers, kindergartners, and grade 1 students. As chidren try this hands-on process art they will explore how different types of flowers leave different impressions and will explore mixing paint and creating a pretty flower painting. We set-up on the kids outdoor table. I just unrolled some butcher paper to cover it since Toddlers tend to make their art all over.
