Do you do summer school? We don’t do traditional year round schooling or anything like that, but I think summer it is a great time to sneak in some fun educational activities  to make sure my kids avoid summer learning loss. Plus, there are times when the weather is rainy, my kids are bored, or it is too hot to play outside. Those are perfect opportunities to sneak in some fun, educational activities.

One of my favorite ways to help toddler, preschool, pre k, and kindergarten age kids practice their numbers, work on number recognition, strengthen fine motor skills, and more are color by number worksheets. Kids love these free worksheets that allow them to make a beautiful summer scene while practicing important skills at the same time! These summer color by number are loads of fun to color and reveal hidden summer pictures that are hiding in the picture.

Summer Color by Number Printable

Just print these 8 pages of summer worksheets for kids perfect for toddlers, preschoolers, prek, and kindergartners and you are ready for some fun summer math!

Set the page out for your child to colour with their favorite art supply – crayola crayons, markers, colored pencils, paint, or whatever else they are excited to use.  You will need to have the following colors to complete this summer learning activity: dark blue, light blue, white, yellow, pink, orange, green, red, purple, pin, and brown.

As students color by code they will reinforce numbers 1-20. The cute clipart images on these summer worksheets  will be revealed as students color:

  • Beach scene with umbrella, beach towel, sun, clouds, and big crashing waves
  • Summer Food including juicy watermelon and a tall glass of cold lemonade
