Set-up by printing all pieces in color and use a laminator on the game board.  Cut apart cards. You will need a dry erase marker and dice to play this game.

On your turn you will roll the dice and have your frog game piece hop as many lilypads as you roll; now turn over a sight word card and write that word on the lilypad with a dry erase marker.

As the game continues, the lily pads will be filled up with sight words. On your turn, as you hop over lily pads with words on them – you will read all the grade two sight words as you hop by. Continue going around and around the pond until all the lily pads have sight words written on them.
