Cardstock paper: Choose a sturdy cardstock paper in a color that will form the base of your beehive. Consider yellow, brown, or even a fun springtime hue!
Scissors: Grab some kid-safe scissors for little hands to snip out the beehive pieces.
Glue stick: A glue stick will be your best friend when it comes to assembling the beehive.

Download and Print: Head below on this post and download the beehive printable. Print it out on your chosen cardstock paper. I use colored paper too.
Snip, Snip, Snip!: Carefully cut out all the beehive pieces from the printed template. This is where adult supervision might be helpful for younger crafters.
Assemble the Hive: Lay out the large beehive base on your workspace. Use your glue stick to adhere the honeycomb sections depending on the number they are skip counting by.
Number Time! As you attach each honeycomb section, pay attention to the numbers printed on them (remember, they’ll be either count by 2, 3, or 4). This is a great opportunity to practice skip counting with your child!
Let’s Decorate! Now comes the fun part: decorating! Unleash your child’s creativity and let them adorn their beehive with crayons, markers, or a sprinkle of glitter.
