Valentines Day Activities for Preschoolers

Print out the Valentine Popsicle Build and Color printable pack.Ā The pack includes 8 pages of popsicle build and color sheets

Each page has an image that contains an area to place popsicle sticks, an area to color, and place to put how many popsicle sticks the child used. You can use color sticks or plain, depending on what you have available. Your child will glue the sticks in place in the proper area and color the rest of the image.

Supplies needed: Popsicle sticks, glue, and crayons

Valentines Day Worksheets

  1. If you only have plain popsicle sticks you can have your child add color with markers.
  2. Challenge your child to build their own Valentine themed items with leftover popsicle sticks.
  3. Each page asks the child how many popsicle sticks were used to build the image on the page. You can easily turn this into an addition activity by asking your child to add how many they used on two pages, three pages, or all of the pages! You can also ask “How many more popsicle sticks did you use on the gift than the bouquet of roses?” Once you begin you will find many ways to expand this activity to reinforce math and counting skills.
  4. You can allow your child to glue the popsicle sticks on the page or laminate the page for using over and over again.
