Kindergarten Math

There are two ways to play this fun time games. The first, simpler  option is to identify the time only.

Each page has four tic tac toe math games going on at the same time! This helps to avoid dissapointment if students loose one grid and also avoids concerns over rolling the same number multiple times in arow.

Player One rolls 1 or 2 dice (whichever they would like) for their turn; they cover ONE clock on the page whose hour matches the time they rolled. Player Two takes their turn and play continues until you run out of cubes or fill the sheet. The winner is the person who has the most 3-in-a-row at the end of the game.
NOTE: If there are no more clocks with the time you rolled you may roll again.

Clock Worksheets

The second version of this telling time for kids will have students use a writing utencil (or dry erase marker if you choose to laminate these clock worksheets) to draw the hour hand on the clock they are picking

Player One chooses to roll 1 or 2 dice for their turn; they draw the hour hand on one clock  of their choice to reflect the time they rolled. Player Two takes their turn and play continues until someone gets Tic-Tac-Toe. Now play again in the next quadrant; there are 4 quadrants per sheet!
This is not only a great addition to your kindergarten math games, but it is also fantastic review for Grade 1 Math too. First graders will acheieve greater math fluency with extended practice!
Although there are 4  printable tic tac toe boards, you can choose whether you want students to complete one at a time or be slightly overwhelmed with playing all 4 games at the same time.
HINT: Save on paper and printing costs by using a laminator  or page protector with this telling time printable and have students complete the telling time game with dry erase markers. Then you can use it over and over again!
