In my opinion, there is no better time to work on this skill than in the fall when their are beautiful colors all around you! Now print the black and white pages for this free printable emergent readers on plain white paper. Use scissors or a paper cutter to carefully cut the pages in half. Names of Colors for Kids

Have children colour the pages of their color book with crayons, markers, or colored pencils to not only continue working on learning colors, but also to strengthen fine motor skills.
