A skill that preschoolers, kindergartners, and grade 1 students need to master is learning color words.  That includes both color recognition and learning to write and spell the names of colors. In my opinion, there is no better time to work on this skill than in the fall when their are beautiful colors all around you! Fall Activities for Preschoolers

Have children colour the pages of their color book with crayons, markers, or colored pencils to not only continue working on learning colors, but also to strengthen fine motor skills.
