All you need to make this green salad are a few simple ingredients:

  • walnuts pieces
  • granulated sugar
  • mixed greens
  • olive oil
  • dried cranberries, pears, or apples
  • crumbled Gorgonzola
  • raspberry vinaigrette
  • white vinegar

In a skillet over medium heat, toss in some walnuts and sugar. Keep stirring until the sugar melts into a beautiful light brown syrup that perfectly coats the nuts. Once done, spread them out on a cutting board or parchment paper to cool.
