I am beginning to plan for our Insect week. In preparation I wanted to make a printable to help Goofy (6 ) and Minnie (3) understand & practice measuring with a ruler. So I created Measuring Lines of Bugs. I included a page with an activity for the kids to understand the need for why we need standard measurement units.
Practice measuring lines of bugs & writing numbers in the observation magnifying glass.
Cut & Paste bugs into the jar with the correct number of inches from the measuring page.

Cute!! I will have to use this when we learn about bugs in the Spring! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wonderful printable! My son loves bugs, so this is great motivation for him to learn. I actually turned it into a file folder game for him. Instead of pasting the bugs into the correct jars, he'll just place them on the jar after measuring the row of bugs. We'll get lots of use out of the it. THanks again!
ReplyDeleteThank you:)
