A shape poem, also known as a concrete poem, is a type of poetry where the words are arranged to create the shape of the subject of the poem. For example, if a child is writing about a tree, they would arrange their words to form the silhouette of a tree! It’s a beautiful blend of art and literature that allows kids to express their thoughts and feelings in a visually engaging way.
