I wanted him to be able to practice in a FUN way so I created a contraction games for kids! This simple-to-assemble file folder game will help you child practice forming contractions. Complete instructions provided, but basically you print in color on cardstoc or  laminate the following pages:

• 2 pages of colorful dots with word pairs
• 2 page of silly yellow minion friends
• cover / instructions for file folder – optional
• answer key – optional

Cut out the minions into little squares or as exact as you want. This is the only time consuming part. No need to make them perfect, squares work just as well!

Although this can be used many ways, we like to make ours into a convenient, easy-to-store file folder game! To do so, simply adhere the front cover with instructions to the outside of a file folder.
