Library Scavenger Hunt

This is such a fun, creative way for kids to learn about and explore their local library. It will help them learn more about book title, author, book genre, dewey decimal system, and other elements in the library.
There are a variety of library worksheets to choose from perfect for kindergarten, first grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, and 6th grade kids, families, and homeschoolers.
These sheets are NO PREP! Just print them in black and white and you are ready to try one of the 5 different types of book scavenger hunts.
Some of worksheets have up to 4 versions so you can have groups, students, or children compete against one another for who knows their library the best!
For this particular worksheet, kids will hunt through the library to find a resource for each of the genre book shelves pictured. Then students will write the title of the book (and author for older students) they found.
For younger students, they can just check off the items on their library Scavenger Hunt as they find them.
Don’t forget to remind kids that although this is a fun activity, this is still the library and they should walk, whisper, and be respectful of other library patrons during this fun kids activity.
