Continents for Kids

If your students are learning geography you will likey start with the 7 continents for kids. We usually start with you live on planet Earth. Earth is made up of ocean and continents. There are seven the continents for kids. The coninents are North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia (Oceana), and Antarctica. On each planet there are lots of countries; countries are made up of states / counties / provinces. Each region of a country is made up of cities, cities are made up of neighborhoods, etc. It helps kids figure out where they fit in this world! When teaching this concept we show kids a large wall map and glove to identify the continents, but as we all know practice makes perfect and the more kids intearct with the material, the better they remember it!
