Learning Number Words for Preschool Kindergarten 1st Grade

There are both numbers and number word liners. Feel free to use whatever is appropriate for your child or use them both.

I had my preschooler match colors to identify which number word meant what number. It may not stick yet, but the more she sees them together the sooner she will begin to identify number words.

Now Put the muffins in the muffin tin in the correct spot by solving the equation. Using blue pom poms (blueberries) as a math manipulative for this activity works really well.

Now point out to your child that once they have finished all 12 muffins they have a dozen.

  • I understand that you want to help homeschoolers who need resources, but teachers need resources as well. Many teachers have to pay out of their own pockets for most of the materials they use with their students. I wish you offered materials for free to teachers as well.

    • HI Susan, we actually offer hundreds of free printables for teachers too =) See the bottom of the posts for individual terms of use.
Basically, this website pays for my family expenses. Parents come back more often to download resources for their children as their kids move up each year ( = ad money) whereas teachers will print it once and reuse it for decades, so we try to keep those resources to a minimum, but it does pay for my families expenses so I have to be smart about it too =)
