Begin by cutting the paper roll on the diagonal. Simply press the roll down and cut off the upper corner, about halfway up. *See picture.
Open the paper roll and hot glue the clothespin onto the lowest point in the front.
Paint the roll and the portion of the clothespin that is attached to the paper roll, brown.
Use glue to add googly eyes and a piece of red yarn to create the turkey face.
Collect beautiful foliage from your yard or a park. Look for feathers while you are out too! You can add those instead of store bought!
Once the paint has dried on the paper roll, create the “feather fan” of the turkey by placing foliage and feathers into the roll opening! You can try using lots of different types of foliage or feathers! Try using other natural materials too!
Make several different turkeys! Add the turkeys to your Thanksgiving table! Enjoy your family, your meal and your creation. Remember there are many things to give thanks for this season.
