Since we still don’t have snow yet and I was ready to do our S is for Snowmen week I decided to make our own snow!! So I let the kids pull out plastic figures of animals or Disney characters and create a scene. Then I pulled out a can of shaving cream. My kids asked a couple times so we are suppose to squirt it on the toys?

Minnie thought it was hilarious!

Then I made a snowman (sorta) around Belle – even more laughter! Then Minnie got to dig through the snow to find Belle.

We made “S” for snowman with shaving cream.

The kids also really enjoyed using brushes to clean the figures in the scene. (Bonus for Mom everything is really clean!) They also enjoying using spoons  to move the snow around.

It was a wonderful hour of squishing, giggling, playing, and having fun. One of the funniest things that I will never forget was when Goofy told me that when Daddy came out he might be mad that they had made a mess. He wasn’t sure if Daddy would believe Mommy told them to do it =-) Precious Memories!

  1. We love shaving cream activities and have done similar many times. I listed some links on your FB page of activities we have particularly enjoyed (shaving cream and other) for indoor snow themes int he past. Hope they give you and your readers some ideas.

  2. We've done the shaving cream before, but never made a village. Something new to try. Thanks for the ideas.
