What you’ll need to make the hand print heart craft:

You’ll need just a few supplies to make this craft:

• Scissors
• Gluesticks
• Red paint
• Pink paper
• White paper
• Paper plates

Pour a small amount of paper into a paper plate. Spread it around a bit.

Have the kids hold their hands with all fingers together. Dip the hands into the paint.

Carefully hold the kid’s hand in a heart shape with the thumbs together and the other fingers pointing away from each other.

Press the hands carefully onto the pink paper.

Let the paint dry.

Cut out a heart shape around the hands. Glue the pink paper to a piece of white paper. Cut out a heart shaped border around the pink heart.

If desired, glue the set of hearts to a larger piece of paper.

Put the name and date of each child somewhere on the paper. You could also write “I love you this much” or something similar on the project to make it into a Valentine’s Day card.
