In preparation for celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday on March 2nd I put together a {FREE} Dr. Seuss Inspired Preschool Learning pack back in 2012. Unfortunately, the beautiful inspired by Dr. Seuss graphics I purchased have been pulled from circulation because the Dr. Seuss company is suing them. Ugh! Shouldn’t they be thrilled people love Dr. Seuss books so much they want to do educational activities based on them? Anyway, not wanting to get sued myself I have updated my pack. There are none of the original Scrapin Doodle Cat in Hat graphics or front covers of Dr. Seuss books.
You will still find 30 pages of printables for children ages 2-6 years. These pages are inspired by the books, but have different clipart. I would suggest picking up the Dr. Seuss book each activity is based on, read it together, and then complete the educational activity. Here is a sample of what’s included:
Additional Resources:
- Thing 1, Thing 2, Thing 3 Hand Art
- Favorite Preschool File Folder Games
- {free} Weather Unit
- Reading the Easy Way (Preschool Dolch Sight Word 20 week program)
- {free} Pinkalicious Early Learning Pack

ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic! Thanks for sharing--I am using a few in our neighborhood preschool this week--letter S and Dr Seuss' birthday--PERFECT!! Do you remember what the clipart was called on Scrappin Doodles? My almost 3 year old loves One Fish Two Fish and I wanted some of the Suess clipart for her birthday party in May and I can't find it!

ReplyDeleteSince I didn't have the Free Printable of the Day on Pinterest last February, I featured your Seussical Learning Pack as the Free Printable of the Day again at the Living Montessori Now Facebook page and on Pinterest at http://pinterest.com/debchitwood/free-printable-of-the-day/
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing. I can't wait to use with my class.
ReplyDeleteJust not sure about........In packet 3 the frog is saying meow.
These are so cute, well designed and very Prek curriculum and standards oriented. I really appreciated that you have all of these for free. you are amazing.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful! Something fun for each of my reading groups, both in small group and as independent work! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI was just looking at these 2 days ago before you had to change all your graphics. It is such a shame the Dr. Seuss company is suing the clip art distributor! Thank you for taking the time to update all the files in time for Saturday instead of taking them down. I have used several of your preschool packs with my daughter. We love them! Thanks again.
