Family Fun Night

We’ve started a new tradition at our house – Disney Family Fun Night! We’ve always been big on having quality family time, but we decided to draw on our love of all things Disney and make some really fun memorable times together. We do Family Fun Night weekly, but once a month it will be a Disney Family Fun Night!

Mike Wazowski Pesto Pizza

Monsters Inc Inspired Food - Mike Wazowski Pesto Pizza Recipe #recipes #disney We ate a Mike Wazowski inspired Pesto Pizza! Isnt’ it super cute?! This is just one of all recipes I’ve shared on this blog of our family tested recipes!

Put the following into your bread maker and set it for Pizza Dough:

  • 1 1/3 cup water
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 TAB sugar
  • 1 1/2 teas salt
  • 2 1/2 teas bread machine yeast

Pull the dough out of the bread maker and divide in 2 for two thin crust pizzas or leave as one for a deep dish pizza. Put on floured surface and cover in damp cloth for 30 minutes. Roll out into pizza or cover in plastic rock and leave in the fridge for up to 24 hours. (our absolute favorite pizza pan)

Whip up some pesto by using a blender and mixing:

  • 2 cups basil
  • 3-4 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup pine nuts or walnuts

Preheat oven to 450 F. Spread pesto sauce over the crust. Top with mozzarella cheese and black olives. Bake 12-14 minutes.
