This pack includes two different pages in this set designed to practice identifying the sight words, reading them, and writing them. There are 4 sets of the pages and 6 words are featured in each set.

color by sight word

There are four different worksheets for kids to color by sight word. We started by reading each word and identifying the color to go with it. We went ahead and color the key to make it easier.

Next, we started reading the word on the popcorn and coloring it in the appropriate color. Sometimes they wanted to pick out the word they were working on instead of going in order of left to right. Either method is fine with me!

sight words activities

There are four worksheets for kids to identify sight words in a word search. Each sight word is featured twice in each word search so make sure to find both of them!

The words are provided on the bottom of the page. The letters in the sight words are dashed so they can trace the words instead of just crossing the words out. We did a rainbow trace on the bottom to make sure we found both words twice. And also because it looks pretty!

This page is perfect for working on the spelling of the word. They have to know how to spell the words to find them in the word search.

HINT: The tracing is also a good way to practice reading the sight words.
