10 Commandments Craft
We took several weeks to not only introduce the 10 Commandments but to explore each one in depth. Come take a peak at our Sunday School Lessons including our 10 commandment crafts, bible games, and songs.
When we introduce the 10 commandments the kids made this really cool paper craft. You can snag the free printable with instructions from Rachael’s Booknook
1st Commandment Rock Craft
We provide a small stone for each child and let them decorate it CAREFULLY with Sharpie markers. We encouraged the kids to take the rocks home and put them in a place where they will see them each day this week to remember God’s commandments.
God gave us rules to show He is Holy and we are sinners. God wrote these rules on two stone tablets. Carry the stone around in your pocket or put it some place you will see it every day to remember the commandments that God has given us. When you see your rock, remember that God loves us and what He has done for us. Remembering this each day will help you love God more and as a result, obey Him more.
For all the weeks we talked about the 10 Commandments we did this super fun song from Go Fish. The kids loved it and it helped them to memorize the 10 commandments too!
