To help kids practice counting 1-10 and numbers 1-20, I made these Mary Had a Little Lamb number flashcards printables.  The number flash cards printable 1-20 goes up higher than most sets for toddlers, preschoolers, kindergartners and grade 1 students as I think the earlier you can introduce children to those tricky teen numbers, the better.  Not only does this free flashcard printables include the personalize flashcards to use in counting games, but it includes the larger Number wall cards printable too. Print either flashcards and/or wallcards in color, on cardstock front and back. You can laminate for durability or if you are going to use them as counting mats.

HINT: These are made with a splash of color to keep young children’s interest, but with conserving colored ink in mind too!

Number Flashcards

The flashcards are 3 x 5″. On one side are sheep to count. Flip them over and you will see the number, number word, and the number of sheep you just counted. These can be used for practice drilling, as mats to count sheep / pom poms / etc, or to take on a number scavenger hunt.

Number Wall Cards

These are larger 5 x 8″ cards that are one sided. They include the number, number word, and the correct number of sheep. These are great for hanging on the wall for visual discrimination and practice. These can also be laminated and used as counting mats, playdough mats, placemats, etc.
