Cute Lazarus Craft for Kids

In this weeks’ Sunday School lesson we talked about how Jesus has power over death and did fun lazarus children’s activity. The BIble story of Lazarus is in John 11. We talked about how Jesus didn’t come right away to heal Lazarus who was sick like Mary and Martha thought he would, instead Jesus healed rose Lazarus from the dead in his timing to show he has power over death! To remember this story, we made a fun lazarus craft. This lazarus craft idea is fun for toddlers, preschoolers, kindergartners, grade 1, grade 2, grade 3, and grade 4 students too.

Lazarus for Kids

The kids were memorized by this video. It was a perfect video for kids to watch as they came in and we waited to get started. We pointed out that just like the picture was not clear when the artist started making it, at the end it was amazing to see how all the important and very intentional details came together to make the perfect picture.

Lazarus craft ideas

This was a fun, simple craft that everyone could easily make. You’ll need:

black spoon per child
2 peel & stick google eyes per child
Stretch Gauze Bandages (we got 2-3 crafts per bandage)

Lazarus sunday school craft

Kids simple put eye stickers on the back part of the spoon and wrap the gauze around the spoon. When you finish just tuck the bandage in; no tape required.
