Here is a SIMPLE project to make that will provide hours of fun play. Simply attach self-sticking Velcro dots to colorful craft sticks on both ends.  These are great for a summer Busy Bag or for a summer road trip.

And in case your kids need some inspiration – here is a {free} Velcro Craft Sticks Idea Book. Just click on the image to download. There are 12 ideas (house, flag, boat, rectangle, etc.) and an Alphabet Challenge. I laminated my sheets and used a C clip to hold them together in a way my kids could flip through them.

  11. Beth,
How many sticks would you say is a good number to create? Trying to figure out if this would be do-able for a busy bag swap or not with the cost of velcro:)Thanks, Thaleia@Something2offer
