Ingredients
1cupbutter, softened
2 1/4cupsall purpose flour
1/2cuppowdered sugarplus extra for rolling the cookies in
1/4teaspoonsalt
1teaspoonvanilla extract
1/2cupchopped nutsI use Peanuts
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 F. In a bowl mix powdered sugar, softened butter, and vanilla extract thoroughly until creamy. Now add all purpose flour, salt, and chopped nuts until well combined. Optional: chill the dough for about 30 minutes.
Roll the dough in small 1” balls and place on an ungreased sheet. I like toput parchment paper down first to make clean-up a breeze.NOTE: These cookies will not spread.
Bake 10 minutes or just until set. While they are still warm, roll the cookies in extra powdered sugar.
