Our family loves white chocolate macademia nut cookies! But when I was going to make a batch, I realized we were out of brown sugar. So I whipped up a slightly different version of our favorite macademia cookies. These were so good I wanted to share this recipe too!

Ingredients
1/2cupbuttersoftened
3/4cupgranulated sugar
1teaspoonvanilla extract
1 1/4cupall purpose flour
1/2teaspoonbaking powder
1/2teaspoonbaking soda
1teaspooncornstarch
1/4teaspoonsalt
1cupchopped macademia nuts
1cupwhite chocolte chipsI use ghiradelli
Instructions
Use a handheld beat to cream together the butter and sugar. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until combined. Stir in flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and corn starch. Fold in chopped macadamia nuts and chocolate chips just until combined. Scoop heaping tablespoon sized balls of dough then place on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 F for 10 minutes. Let cool on pan for about 5 minutes before transfering cookies to a cooling rack to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
