Ingredients
1 1/2cupsegg whites12-18 large eggs, seperated
1teaspooncream of tartar
1/2 teaspoonvanilla extract
1/2 teaspoonalmond extract
1 1/4cupcake flour
1 3/4cupgranulated white sugarI use extra fine
1/4teaspoonsalt
Instructions
Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Mix in cream of tartar, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
Sift together flour, sugar, and salt. Gently fold flour mixture into beaten egg whites.
Pour batter into an ungreased 10-inch tube pan. Bake your cake to perfection! Start by placing your pan in a cold oven. Turn the oven on and set it to 325°F. In about an hour, or until lightly golden brown.
Once your cake is done baking, flip the tube pan upside down and let it cool completely to room temperature before carefully removing it from the pan.
I like to serve mine with berries and whipped topping! Yum!
