To start out roll out and place a single pie crust in a pie pan. You can use a pre-made pie crust or easily make one yourself – you pick. In bowl, combine flour & salt; cut in the shortening until crumbly. Gradually add water, towing with a fork until a ball forms. Do not over mix or add more flour than necessary. Roll out pastry with rolling pan to fit a pie pan.
Pre-heat oven to 375 F.In a large bowl, combine 6 large eggs, ¾ cup of milk, ¾ teaspoon salt, and a dash of ¼ teaspoon black pepper. Grab a whisk and mix it all together until well blended!
Sprinkle 1 cup cooked ham – diced, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, and 3 tablespooons sliced green onions into the pie crust
Pour the egg mixture over your pie, ensuring it evenly coats all the delicious ingredients. Then, sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of cheddar cheese on top for that perfect finishing touch
