# FREE Measuring Bugs

Help kids learn to use a ruler with these super cute math worksheets for preschool and kindergarten kids.

This activity goes great along with an Insect week.

In preparation I wanted to make a free printable to help Goofy (Kindergarten ) and Minnie (Preschool) understand & practice measuring with a ruler. So I created Measuring Lines of Bugs.  I included a page with an activity for the kids to understand the need for why we need standard measurement units.

Start by scrolling to the bottom of the post, under the terms of use, and click on the text link that says >> Download <<. The pdf file will open in a new window for you to save the freebie and print the pages in color. Whether you are a parent, teacher, or hoemschooler – you will love this simple measurement activity for kids that helps them use a ruler and begin understanding how things are measured in inches and how we can compare measurements. If you are using this in a math center in your classroom, I recommend laminating the pages or sticking them in a page protector to make this spring math activity reusable with dry erase markers.

## Measurement Kindergarten Worksheets

Practice measuring lines of bugs & writing numbers in the observation magnifying glass. This is perfect for Preschool,  Pre k, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade students who are learning about measuring.

Cut & Paste bugs into the jar with the correct number of inches from the measuring page.
