FREE Letter Hunt Alphabet Printables

Are you looking for a quick, low-prep activity that will keep your preschoolers engaged while helping them work on letter recognition? These letter hunt cards are just what you need!
FREE Letter Hunt Alphabet Printables - these free printable alphabet letter worksheets make practicing identifying uppercase and lowercase letters fun for preschool, kindergarten, and first grade kids. This is perfect for extra practice, summer learning, home preschool, homeschool, and more

These letter hunt activity pages will help young learners work on letter recognition as they search through 15-18 letters to find the ones featured on each card. With so many ways to use them, they're a perfect fit for all of your learners.

Letter Hunt Cards

Similar to my Christmas alphabet hunt pages, this set of alphabet hunt cards is a great low-prep activity to have on hand with preschoolers and kindergarteners.

There are 2 cards per page each focusing on a different letter of the alphabet. Each card also features an image that begins with the focus letter.

To prep this activity, all you will need to do is print out the pages and trim them down. You could also laminate the pages before cutting them to make them a bit more durable.

HINT: If you laminate these cards, you could put them in a pencil pouch or zip-top baggie with a handful of small tokens or a wet-erase marker. This makes a great, portable busy bag that you can pull out at a doctor visit, dinner out at a restaurant, or even during church. It is a great learning activity that your kids can do while you're waiting.

Circle the letters: One option is to have your child circle each focus letter. They will be looking for both uppercase and lowercase letters. If you've laminated the cards, your child can use a wet-erase marker to circle the letters. When they've completed the activity, wipe them clean and they're ready to go for the next time you pull them out.

Dot the letters: If you have dot markers on hand, have your child dot the focus letters on each card. If you choose this option, I would NOT laminate the cards before giving them to your child.

Cover the letters: You could also have your child cover the letters with mini erasers, buttons, pennies, or other small tokens.
