Homemade Puffy Paint

puffy paint recipe
Mix together the following and pour into squirt paint container:
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • food coloring
  • water (you want enough water so it is a loose paste)
HINT: You can also put it in a sandwich bag with the edge cut off. The squeeze bottle was great for little hands, but the plastic bag was less clean up – so you pick what works best for your household.

The kids thought it was great fun! We ‘painted’ on cardstock for durability. When the creation is done just stick it in the microwave for 30 seconds (or a little longer if it is really on their thick).
