  8. I definitely be book-marking your page for these.

    Hmmm, going to have to figure these out. My little one's birthday is mid-November, so it seems the holidays are non-stop from there. I've been trying to calm down December and focus Christmas on the 12 days AFTER. I have been trying to be a bit counter-culture doing our Christmas this way. I really want to learn about 32 different cultures with Christmas as the "hook" into geography. It's definitely a subject I am lacking in and could use the help in for my kinder-age girl. I have a hard time keeping her out of Christmas materials all year. (Watching Prancer and Polar Express throughout the year and reading Charlie Brown's Christmas and A Vist from St. Nicholas too.) Using Christmas material MAY just be one of my hooks into learning for her.

  20. Thanks for sharing this cool resource. I teach in a tiny multi-grade school and we'll be using as many pages as I can reasonably do between Thanksgiving break and Christmas break.
    One small typo I noticed on the England page. The answer under the London Bridge question has "left" twice when I think you mean "right" on one of them.

  31. Thank you for putting this together! I have taught second grade for many years and I now homeschool my first grader. This is exactly what I have been looking for all these years. The only thing I wish I could add is a traditional Christmas story from each country. Book form would be amazing, but I realize that may be a stretch. I am looking forward to every new country!!!

  38. I also could not get the link to work yesterday last night at home or this morning at work. (Yesterday afternoon at work was fine). The error I get when clicking on the white covered ebook picture is a google "Error 500. That’s an error.

    I'm putting together a list of Christmas-specific websites for each country. If I post it on my blog, can I add a link to it above? Also, we've spent 5 Christmases in Indonesia, and this will be our second in Malaysia. If I blog about Christmas here, could I add that link as well? I thought people might enjoy having some options for the "choose your own country" page.
