During our long car trips this year we have played a LOT with our Melissa & Dough Magnetic Chalkboard! I have a variety of activities all utilizing this wonderful tool for the car! But more on that later =-)Today I wanted to share with you how we used magnetic foam shapes to create lots of creative pictures. They also enjoyed using this {free} Shape Picture Book I made for them. (click on image to download) Just laminate the pages, cut down the middle, hole punch, and put a ring clip so your kids can make a design and flip to one of the other 13 designs easily.
Want to make your own? Download the shape picture book above and buy these 2 items here:
The kids had hours of fun…..did I mention this is great for reasoning/math skills =-)

You know what works great for a magnet board and can be purchased very cheaply....a cookie sheet. FYI Im going to link over to this post for FreeBee Friday.
