After a recommendation from Homeschool Creations, I recently began using Windows Live Writer to publish posts. I LOVE IT!
If you have a blog & aren’t using Windows Live Writer – Why NOT? Here is why you should:Windows Live Writer Example

  • It allows you to write in a template it detects from your blog.
  • Can add watermark to all your pictures
  • You can add one picture or albums of pictures
  • It is VERY easy to format picture (crop, resize, add borders, etc.)
  • Can add videos
  • Can add links or add links to pictures
  • It allows you the flexibility to choose the day & time you post
  • Add tags so you have more page hits & people can find what they are looking for in your blog
  • Allows you to have a back-up of all your posts!
  • There are LOTS of plug-ins that remind you to tweet a post, add a like, button, and so many more
  • Compatible with Blogger, Windows Live, Wordpress, LiveJournal, TypePad, and more
  • Did I mention it’s FREE!!!
