This post may contain referral links. Here’s my full disclosure policy

Child, Homeschool, family, Craft Linky Party weekly

There were SO many fun, creative, and interesting ideas this past week – 48 to be exact!  You guys made it really hard to pick which ones to feature!! Here are a couple that stood out to me, but they were all great – thanks for linking up! Also , forgive me but I deleted the 1st linky party. For some reason Mr. Linky code was messing with my sidebar =-( That is also why I ended the party a couple days soon & started the new one early! This week we will be using InLinkz and in my test blog it did not mess up the sidebar! YEAH! So going forward you will still be able to look back at old linky parties for ideas.  Thanks for your understanding as I worked out the bugs!

Little Monsters from The Seven Year Cottage           Addition checkers from Deceptively Educational

Lil' Monsters, Monster Cupcakes, Monster Party, Monster Bash, Monster Dessert, Halloween, Mini Cupcakes, Frosting, Candy, Edible Eyes, Coconut, Kids Dessert

Crafty Cow from Honey Bee Books Blog                     Runaway Gingerbread boy by The Swan Dive

Bird in a cage by Lessons Learnt Journal         Jack-O-Lantern cups by Creative Connections for Kids

Now it’s your turn to join the Linky Party. Everyone is welcome! I will personally visit each link and comment! I will pick a couple really fun ideas from the links entered & feature them in the following weeks Linky Party!

Kid, Homeschoolin, Craft, and Family Friendly Linky Party

  1. You can include pretty much anything that is kid friendly: what you did this week with your Tots, Preschooler, Homeschooler, Fieldtrips, etc., new family favorite recipe, fun craft ideas, you get the idea. Please no giveaway or store links – Thanks!
  2. Please make sure that you include my button (feel free to grab it above) in either your post or your sidebar somewhere. (This will help more people find the Linky Party and we will get even more great ideas!!) Not to be the Linky Police, but I will be monitoring and deleting posts if they do not follow protocol – thanks!
  3. Consider joining the blog (GFC, email, or however you usually like to join blogs). Not mandatory, but I am confident you will find lots of ideas, free printables, inspiration, and recipes. Plus you will get an email reminding you to join in the Linky Party each week!
  4. Please link to the actual post, not just your blog homepage. That way everyone can find your post more easily.
  5. Feel free to share this with anyone you like. The more link-ups we get – the more ideas & inspiration for everyone! So feel free to like it (which will share it on facebook) or click on the sharing is caring below to share on facebook or any other way you choose).
  6. Try to stop by at least 3 other links & comment. We all love comments – so let’s share the joy!

  1. Thank you so much for highlighting our checkers game, Beth! It was super cheap to make. It has been tons of fun to play with my son, too!

  3. I linked up! I hope it's alright that I added a link back at the end of my post rather than the button. My sidebar is getting so full it's hard to find anything (and my Montessori Monday post already has a lot going on). It'll be great to find ideas here for my Pinterest boards! :) Deb @ LivingMontessoriNow.com

  8. Thanks for visiting me! We love movies and educational DVDs, but in the past we found it best to limit them - a) because my daughter was getting an attitude when we wouldn't let her watch something whenever she wanted, and b) our time is better spend on other things (especially outside, if the weather is nice).

But I saw the Leapfrog Letter Factory recommended somewhere, got it from the library and ended up getting it in a trade on swap.com. The kiddos have only watched it two or three times now, but they already sing the little tune with the letter sounds. It's so much easier learning things when they're catchy like that.

  9. PS - I added a linky, but have a small suggestion: in the field where it says "name" you might want to put "blog post title" or something like that because the first time I filled it out I put my name. Hehe.

  10. Karla, I'd love to chnange the field name, but as far as I can tell it is not something I can change. I've never joined any Linky Party that had a different title in that field.

We do limit TV too, up to 30 minutes a day.... but many days not even that =-) I agree there are lots of fun things to do that are more interactive =)
